All the activity in start ups in Mumbai is making movements in the Mumbai media.Priyanka Sinha, Editor, Society, joins as Editor, HT City in Mumbai. Baiju Kalesh of Times of India, Head, Business Bureau is now the National Corporate Head. Reeba Zachariah has quit Business Standard and will join Times of India (Business Bureau). The team at Times of India -Business bureau I understand will now be Namrata Singh, Amrita Nair Ghaswalla, Partha Sinha, Reeba Zachariah, Nazia Vasi, Manju V, Rumi Dutta, Mansi Kapur. Krishna Gopalan has quit Financial Express and will join Business Today. CH Unnikrishnan from Chronicle Pharmabiz to Business Standard & Anjali Doshi from India Today to HT. Rukmini Vishwanath from The Hindu Business Line joined Times TV. Archana Chaudhari from The Hindu Business Line has put in her papers. Rajesh Kurup has quit PTI and will join Business Standard. Rajesh Unnikrishnan -has put in his papers at Financial Express (serving notice period) will join Economic Times. Mr. P G Mathai will be joining as the Features Editor at Telegraph -based out of Mumbai. He takes over from Ms Gauri who has retired. He will be incharge of feature sections of Telegraph viz. the Look, The Knowhow, the Weekend, People, Etc, Telekids and Careergraph. Parvathy Ullathil has quit Business Standard and is pursuing higher studies. Mansi Kapur has quit Business Standard and is moving to Times of India -Business bureau. There's some pretty serious movement happening in Bangalore as well... will keep you posted. But off the top of my head: Kalpana Shah from ET has moved to Red Herring. Sigi Achappa from CIOL and TV Mahalingam from CNBC have moved to IDG. They will look after some new tech mags that are soon to be launched. Abhijeet from HBL will be COB of FE.
Media lists - tell me about it - they're zooming across like locusts or something - ricochet'n about the place... although its seems to be somewhat settled now...

seems mumbai team is going to spend a lot of time just revising the media list :-). well lot of similar movement soon to happen in ahmedabad also.

A move in Mumbai: Eswar - Associate Editor from DQ - is going to the US to study for a year and a half. Rajneesh De will take his place.
